Light & Shadow Crash Course: Terminology & Anatomy
A deep dive video into the anatomy of light and shadow and important vocabulary you should know!
Hey guys!
For the first video in this Light & Shadow series, I'm going over the basic terminology and anatomy of light so we can speak the same language as we dive deeper into how to apply these concepts to actual drawings.
I tried to pack in most of the basic concepts you need to know in this 12 min video so hopefully it's easy to come back to if you ever need a refresher.
I'll also post this image with all of the basic vocab written out here↓
If you want to go even deeper into penumbras and their mathematical ratios, I highly recommend watching this PENUMBRA VIDEO by John Clapp who explains it incredibly well!
